Appendix 3: Additional Documents Required for Some Exhibits

For those foodstuffs exhibits, exhibitor shall provide sanitation certificates from exporting country or region, or the sanitary evaluation documents and certificates of origin. If exhibits do not have sanitation certificates or sanitary evaluation document, the exhibitors shall provide manufacturer’s certificate of quality or statement of accordance with approval from inspection and quarantine institutions.
For those animal/plant product exhibits, exhibitor shall provide Certificate of Origin and Animal Quarantine Certificate or Plant Quarantine Certificate issued by exporting country. For those animal/plant product exhibits that are required to go through quarantine examination and approval procedures, exhibitor shall provide License of Quarantine for Entry Animals and Plants or other certificates for quarantine examination and approval.
For those goods belong to ATA documentary list, exhibitor shall provide the ATA documentary list as certifying document when applying for inspection and quarantine.
For those goods belong to the old electromechanical product category, exhibitor shall provide Certificate of Exemption from Pre-Inspection before Loading and Transportation for Entry Old Electromechanical Products or Record of Pre-Inspection before Loading and Transportation for Entry Old Electromechanical Products, Inspection Report of Pre-Inspection before Loading and Transportation and Certificate of Pre-Inspection before Loading and Transportation.
For those goods belong to the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) category, exhibitor shall provide CCC Certificate. For those goods used as exhibits and are exempted from CCC certificate procedures, exhibitor shall provide Certificate of Exemption from CCC issued by certification department of the bureau when applying for inspection.
For those transgenic goods, exhibitor shall provide Safety Certificate for Agricultural Transgenic Products (or related approved documents) and Document of Examination and Approval for Agricultural Transgenic Biological Label.
For those special goods such as microorganism, human tissue, biological product, and blood product, exhibitor shall provide Sanitation Quarantine Examination and Approval Document for Special Entry/Exit Goods.

The following animals/plants and their products are required to go through quarantine examination and approval procedures:

1. List of animals

Living and movable: animals (raised or wild domestic animals, birds, beasts, snakes, tortoises, shrimps, crabs, cowries, silkworms and bees), embryos, semen, fertilized eggs, breeding eggs and other animal genetic materials;
Animal products as foodstuffs: meat products (including organs), fresh eggs, fresh milk;
Animal products as non-foodstuffs: bone trotter products, gelatin, cocoons, forages from animals and forage additives, fish powders, meat powders, bone powders, meat bone powders, oil, blood powders, and blood, organic fertilizer with animal compound.

2. List of plants

Plant reproductive materials: seeds, seedlings, and other living plants;
Fruits and vegetables: fresh fruits, tomatoes, eggplants, and chili fruits;
Tobaccos: tobacco leave and tobacco flakes;
Grains and cereals: wheat, corns, paddy (rough rice), barleys, ryes, oats and sorghums;
Potatoes and yams: potatoes, cassavas, and sweet potatoes.
Forages: wheat bran, bean cake, bean meal, peanut meal, and rapeseed meal;
Others: medium for planting

3. For the quarantine examination and approval procedures of entry plant reproductive materials (seeds and seedlings), exhibitor shall apply to agricultural and forestry departments. For the quarantine examination and approval procedures of other animals, plants and their products, exhibitor shall apply to Ningbo Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau with list of exhibits and related certificates of exhibition. After a preliminary examination by Ningbo Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the application will be examined and approved by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC. The processes of examination and approval are: submit physical document and online application form → accepted and verified by Ningbo Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau → submit to General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC.

The following products belong to China Compulsory Certification category:
Cables and wires, circuit switches, protective or connective electric appliances, low voltage electrical apparatuses, electric motors of low power, electric tools, electric welding machines, home appliances and similar appliances, audio and video devices, IT devices, lighting equipments, telecommunication terminal equipments, motor vehicles and safety attachments, motor vehicle tires, safety glass, agricultural machinery products, emulsion products, medical instruments products, fire-fighting equipments, safety technique preventive products, decorative products, and wireless local area network products.

The following goods are required to go through sanitation quarantine examination and approval procedures before applying for inspection and quarantine:
