According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, last week (April 13-19), the national market price of the edible agricultural products decreased by 0.1% from the previous week, and the market price of the means of production increased by 0.3% from the previous week.

In the market of edible agricultural products, the price of pork decreased slightly with its wholesale price reaching 45.03 yuan per kilogram, down 1.3% from the previous week; the wholesale price of beef decreased by 0.1%, and that of mutton increased by 0.2%. The price of poultry products increased slightly with the wholesale prices of eggs and chicken up 1.5% and 0.4% respectively. The price of aquatic products dropped slightly, with the wholesale prices of large hairtail, silver carp and large yellow croaker down 1.7%, 1.5% and 0.8% respectively. The prices of grain and edible oil fluctuated slightly, with the wholesale prices of flour and rice up 0.5% and 0.4% respectively from the previous week, those of peanut oil and rapeseed oil up 0.4% and 0.3% respectively, and the wholesale price of soybean oil down 0.1%. The average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 4.74 yuan per kilogram, up 0.6%, with the prices of broccoli, cauliflower, and Chinese cabbage up 8%, 7.4% and 6.6% respectively. The average wholesale price of 6 kinds of fruits increased by 1.3% with the prices of grape, apple and banana up 2.4%, 1.8% and 1.5% respectively and the price of pear down 0.5%.

In the market of production means, the price of non-ferrous metals increased slightly, with the prices of aluminum, copper and zinc up 2.6%, 2.3% and 1.9% respectively. The prices of basic chemical raw materials saw ups and downs, with the prices of polypropylene and sulphuric acid up 9.9% and 0.6% respectively, and those of methyl alcohol and sodium carbonate down 0.5% and 0.2% respectively. The price of steel run smoothly. To be more specific, the prices of screw-thread steel and hot rolled strip were 3776 yuan and 3902 yuan per ton respectively, staying basically unchanged, the price of high-speed wire rods was 3895 yuan per ton, up 0.1%, and the price of U-steel was 3915 yuan per ton, down 0.2%. The price of chemical fertilizers decreased slightly, with the price of urea down 0.3%, and the price of NPK staying basically unchanged. The price of coal experienced a slight decline. Specifically, the prices of steam coal, No. 2 anthracite coal and coking coal were 560 yuan, 904 yuan, and 737 yuan per ton respectively, down 0.7%, 0.3% and 0.1% respectively. The wholesale price of refined oil was stable with a slight decline, with the wholesale price of No. 0 diesel oil staying unchanged, and the prices of No. 92 gasoline and No.95 gasoline both down 0.3%. The price of rubber decreased slightly, with the prices of synthetic rubber and natural rubber down 1.4% and 0.4% respectively.
